Which is God more interested in?  Our holiness or our happiness?

What are your thoughts?

  2. Which comes first the chicken or the egg? :) Since we can never be holy on our own we will never be happy on our own. He is pleased with a repentant heart that seeks to know Him in all of His holiness. As we are drawn closer to Him, happiness will envelop our soul.

  3. our holiness. He even commanded for us to be holy. Happiness, I believe, is a by-product of walking in His way. Especially walking WITH Him. In His presence is fullness of joy. At His right hand are pleasures evermore.
